Fika meetings

Fika meetings are held at Martin Luther Lutheran Church, 9235 West Bluemound Road, Milwaukee located just east of Milwaukee Zoo. The meetings start 1:30 PM on the following dates (Saturdays). Fika meetings are free, no charge and open to the public.

  • October 19, 2024, Annual Business Meeting, Program: “A tribute to Harry H Anderson”, SAHSWI members remember Harry Anderson, Historian and Founder of SAHSWI.
  • January 25, 2025, Program: “The history and role of FÄBODAR in Swedish culture” – Presentation by Linde Lodge President and SAHSWI member Brent Erickson.
  • March 22, 2025, Program: Swedish authors presented by SAHSWI member Cookie Anderson
  • May 17, 2025, Program: To be announced
  • October 18, 2025, Annual Business Meeting, Program: To be announced
