About us:

The Swedish American Historical Society of Wisconsin, Inc., was founded in 1975 with a goal of promoting a greater knowledge and appreciation of the role played by persons of Swedish descent in the growth and development of the State of Wisconsin through the story of immigration and settlement as well as recognizing the contributions Swedish-Americans have made to the American Experience.


October, January, March and May — usually held in the Milwaukee area at Redemption Lutheran Church, 4057 North Mayfair Rd. (Hwy. 100, just north of Capitol Drive) Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.

Special Events:

St. Lucia Celebration – mid December

Julotta held on Christmas Day, December 25th. 2019 Julotta service has been cancelled.
